Kelantan-East Peninsular Malaysia
Kelantan is the north-easternmost and one of the largest state of Peninsular Malaysia.Translated as the “Land of Lightning”this waypoint state between Thailand and Pulau Perhentian, is an agricultural state with green paddy fields, rustic fishing villages and casuarina-lined beaches and follows more of a rural lifestyle. Hence its culture differs a little from the usual Malay culture present in the rest of the Peninsula and this is very well reflects in its cuisine,arts and in its language as well.
